Paused displaying on the App Store due to Spotify connection error
In the following sentences, the following applications will be referred to as "this app" and explained.
By September 1, 2022, Spotify has announced that it will no longer be able to distribute Streaming audio sources for Spotify Premium users through third-party apps. As a result, access to and playback of Spotify sound sources with this app is also in an error state. Our company only learned about it on September 1, 2022, and we apologize for the delay in responding.
In addition, the display of the introduction page of this app on the App Store has been temporarily paused. This is because the content of "Play Spotify" in the explanation will be different after 2022/9/1. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible so that the display can return to normal.
*During that time, you can re-download from the list of purchased apps on the App Store.
*The contents of the introduction page of this app in the App Store can only be changed when the updated version of the app is released due to the specifications of the App Store.
As a countermeasure, we considered changing to Spotify's successor function, "Cooperation playback function from third-party apps to Spotify app", while working on it. As a result of considering the functions and the contents of the new cooperation contract, we decided to suspend the cooperation with Spotify from this app. In the next few days, we will release a update-version that does not handle Spotify sound sources. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding.
The reason for the decision to suspend adopting "the successor function by Spotify" is as follows.
(1) In cooperation playback with the Spotify app, processing to calculate sound information related to the sound quality and volume of Spotify sound sources in this app will not be possible at all. (This app's graphic equalizer, preset equalizer, virtual surround, crossfade, fadeout, upsampling, EQ mode, time stretch & pitch shift, waveform analyzer, volume (center, gain)).
We are planning to develop new functions related to music in the future, so please look forward to it.
Thank you for your patronage.
